CompTIA’s Network+ exam N10-002 is the only exam required to achieve the
Network+ certification. It is entry-level as it’s meant for IT professionals
with nine months experience in network support or administration. This exam has
no prerequisites but CompTIA recommends you possess the A+ certification.
This exam, which is offered in English, French, German and Japanese, is easy
to moderately difficult. It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric. In terms of
cost: “Prices of CompTIA exams vary, depending upon the country you are taking
the test in and your membership status. In the US, prices range from $93 USD to
$225 USD.
The passing score is 646 on a scale of 100 to 900. This exam is in
conventional format, consisting of 72 identification and situational multiple
choice questions, and has a duration of 90 minutes.
