BrainCert recently introduced the 'Assignments' feature for instructors to easily create and manage assignments for enrolled students in a course.
BrainCert now supports adding Flash and iFrame contents in your content library. This applies to both E-learning Platform and Enterprise LMS product offerings. When you upload a flash file with SWF extension, content engine automatically detects the width and height of the flash file and embeds it. This new feature allows you to add interactive flash tutorials, animations, and CBTs as part of your course structure.
The latest release of the Chrome web browser, version 42, will block Oracle's Java plugin by default as well as other extensions that use the deprecated NPAPI. BrainCert has moved away from Java towards HTML5 technology to enable screen sharing in a Live Virtual Classroom session. Traditional screen sharing solution providers require their users to download and install propriety software to host and attend meetings. Sure, there may be a hiccup every now and then when the network gets congested, but for the most part every time you type a letter from your keyboard, wham, it appears on the remote computer instantly. BrainCert now supports quick & easy screen sharing right in your web browser using the latest HTML5 technology with no clunky software downloads, or plugins like Java.
...Now you can securely stream your audio and video files in a live Virtual Classroom session. BrainCert uses RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol) for dynamic streaming, where the video quality automatically adjusts to changes in bandwidth. The biggest advantage of RTMP streaming is that it will show you the video from the beginning, and lets you seek to any point in time, before it has actually arrived. The RTMP server automatically streams bytes from the location requested. Hence you need not wait. You can skip what you don't want to see by simple seeking ahead.
...Today, we have launched an awesome integrated Forums add-on in Enterprise LMS product offering. Engaging with the world has never been easier with this super versatile multilingual forums that is great to unite users together for sharing thoughts, ideas and technical assistance.
Online discussion forums have long been used in educational contexts as part of a broader movement towards online learning and provides a asynchronous collaboration environment in which discussion participants are able to share their views, enter dialogue, and learning from each other. Forums also enables communication and collaboration over a period of time through a "different time-different place" mode. These tools allow people to connect together at each person's own convenience and own schedule. Powered with the existing synchronous One-on-One Chat feature that enables real-time communication and collaboration, LMS users can initiate Ad hoc quick communications and stay connected.
Team BrainCert is excited to announce the launch of the most important and powerful Virtual Classroom version 3.0 updates to both E-Learning Platform and Enterprise LMS platform offerings.
