In this training, the learner will explore strategies that can be used to partner with families. This training is divided into five sections that can be used to help childcare professional initiate relationships with families. The learner will review strategies and techniques that can be used to connect, support families and form collaborative relationships.
Martina is a native of northeastern North Carolina. She has over ten years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. She obtained a M.S. in Family and Consumer Science from North Carolina Central University. She has served as a T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Scholarship Counselor and she worked as a high school teacher teaching dual enrollment early childhood classes. In addition, she worked as an Independent Consultant providing training and technical assistance to childcare providers. She currently resides in northern Virginia.
